A day in the life:
  • Undertake a wide variety of engineering assignments related to water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations, flood protection works, and treatment plants
  • Have a solid technical background and ready to start managing projects and clients
  • Communicate with the team and with clients on assignment status and identify issues early
  • Take initiative in business development, your own personal growth, and improving project delivery
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff (engineers, technologists, drafting)
  • Adhere to WSP's quality, project management, and health & safety policies
  • Undertake or direct project control systems on larger projects
  • Develop project management skills
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to WSP ...

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree may be preferred or considered a plus.

Experience
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Extensive experience in the design, analysis, and management of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering significant water and wastewater projects from concept to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipeline design, pump stations, and related systems.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes

Technical Skills
  • Expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for water and wastewater systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of water quality parameters, treatment processes, and/or distribution/conveyance systems.
  • Strong familiarity with wastewater collection systems, stormwater management, and related infrastructure
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce detailed engineering reports, proposals, and project documentation.

Expected Salary (all locations): 119,200 - 202,700
