Junior Production Controller

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and tech-confident Junior Production Controller to join our team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end production of high-quality digital mathematics resources for primary school teachers and students. You will coordinate workflows, manage database systems, track production schedules, and ensure our content meets the highest standards of mathematical accuracy and presentation.

• Production Coordination & Scheduling: Monitor digital math resources through content development, design, review, and release. Keep project trackers updated, manage dependencies, track approvals, and flag potential delays early.

• Database & Data Management: Build and maintain complex database workspaces (properties, relations, rollups, views, and formulas). Ensure data integrity, troubleshoot broken relations or logic, keep databases clean, and optimize workflows for non-technical team members.

• Quality Control & Math Accuracy: Proofread digital lesson materials, teacher guides, and assessments. Check for errors in calculations, mathematical notation, diagrams, formatting, layout, and links across both digital files and PDFs (via Adobe Acrobat Pro).

• Asset & Version Control: Maintain organized digital folders, standard file-naming conventions, and clear version histories to ensure only approved assets reach final publication.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as the central link between our mathematics, editorial, design, and production teams to keep projects moving smoothly.

Essential:

• Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and version histories simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Systems & Logical Thinking: Strong attention to detail combined with a methodical approach to problem-solving and maintaining clean data.

• Technical & Database Proficiency: Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting complex, interconnected database systems, formulas, and data structures.

• Tooling: Proficient with databases (Notion preferred), Adobe Acrobat Pro for reviewing and annotating PDFs; adaptable to learning new platforms quickly.
  Advanced experience: with relational databases, project management tools, or digital content management systems (CMS).

• Mathematical Understanding: Confident working with primary math concepts, representations, and calculations to independently spot errors.

Desirable:

• Background or strong interest in primary mathematics education, digital publishing, or content QA.

• Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator).
