Your Impact
• Conduct technical risk assessments using HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, MAA, QRA, and other key methodologies.
• Support the development of Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessments (HRVAs) and Wildfire Strategies.
• Produce clear, actionable reports that help clients understand, prioritize, and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate and coordinate workshops to identify risks, navigate challenges, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align strategies and deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of tools, processes, and methodologies that elevate WSP's risk practice.
• Explore emerging innovations-such as integrating natural language insights-to strengthen analytical approaches and improve efficiency.
• Build strong client relationships that reinforce WSP's reputation for excellence and reliability.
The Skills That Set You Apart
• 2-4 years of experience in risk management, emergency management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk methodologies including HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, MAA, QRA, and quantitative techniques (fault tree, event tree).
• Experience with HRVAs and Wildfire Strategy development.
• Experience facilitating and guiding workshops toward aligned outcomes.
• Engineering degree, PMP, geotechnical background, or risk-related accreditation considered an asset.
• Business continuity planning experience desirable.
• A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $65,800 - $88,600
