You'll have the opportunity to experience the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition.
Our team helps our clients design and implement personal and customised service plans that are unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. You'll be assisting the team focus on key issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:Take action to ensure everyone has a voice, inviting opinion from all.Establish the root causes of issues and tackle them, rather than just the symptoms.Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.Develop specialised expertise in one or more areas.Advise stakeholders on relevant technical issues for their business area.Navigate the complexities of global teams and engagements.Build trust with teams and stakeholders through open and honest conversation.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
As a Senior Manager you will: Manage all day-to-day corporate tax services and tax consulting services to key clients
Plan, organize and deliver tax planning engagements for Canadian corporations
Work with multi-disciplinary tax teams on various projects including tax planning and compliance, international tax matters, tax provisions, and tax modelling
Ability to identify opportunities with clients and propose solutions that meet the client's needs
Lead the development of proposals and proposal teams
Establish a broad network of relationships, including the opportunity to work with industry associations
Support the development and coaching of tax professionals and other junior tax staff members
Participate in, and contribute to, market and business activities, including opportunities for contributing to publications and journals
Preferred skills & qualifications CPA, CA or other accounting designation
Completion of Levels I, II and II of the CPA In-depth Tax Course
A proven leader with strong business development and entrepreneurial skills
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
Superior problem solving skills, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service
Ability to manage, develop, retain and mentor junior tax professionals
Minimum years experience required Minimum 6 years of experience in Corporate Tax, preferably specializing in private corporations, with at least 3 years in a management capacity
