As an Immigration Support Specialist, you will be part of our EY Law LLP team providing support to our Canadian Immigration team from our new Halifax Centre of Excellence You will play a key role in delivering a range of business immigration services to multinational clients who recruit or transfer employees to work and live in Canada
Your key responsibilities
As an Immigration Support Specialist, you will provide day-to-day support to the staff, senior and management team in all aspects of Canadian business immigration client accounts. Specifically, your responsibilities may include:
• Preparing submission letters and employer letters of support addressed to government authorities • Drafting immigration application forms and compiling supporting documentation • Compiling employer compliance information for submission through Government of Canada Employer Portals • Using EY's customized technology to drive efficiency • Attending team meetings as scheduled • Assisting with special projects as required • Overtime work may be required during important deadlines such as client peak-seasons, month-end or year-end;
