The Buffet Attendant takes pride in quality food presentation to ensure the best possible culinary experience for casino guests.

Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Motivates, leads by example and provides a learning environment. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia's culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
    •Maintains cleanliness of Buffet Line during Open Hours. •Replenish & Maintains all Hot Buffet food items •Replenishing of Salad Buffet •Replenish & Restocking of Desert Station •Ensuring all appropriate food utensils available for Guest. •Ensuring buffet line is set Prior to opening •Assist with break down & Buffet closing duties •Maintains Cleanliness of Ice Cream Machine •Minimal Preparations of Salad station Condiments •Supports culinary team to ensure efficient operation of all culinary operations •Finds ways to play; you are serious about work, without being serious •Chooses to make everyday a great day •Stays focused in order to be there •Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you

make their day
    •Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership,

employees, vendors and regulators
    •Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Performs other duties as assigned or directed
    •Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and

"all about the guest" attitude!
    •Basic Food Safety Certificate an asset (*for external candidates, they will need to obtain within the first 90 days on the job at own expense). •Food and Beverage experience is an asset. •Must be able to work various shifts including nights, back shifts, weekends and holidays. •Must have excellent customer service skills with guests and co-workers. •Must be able to lift 25kg.
