The successful candidate for this role will be required to work independently to provide advanced, highly diversified, confidential and senior administrative & executive assistance to the RVP and the Rogers for Business, while exercising initiative and judgment on a regular basis.

- Provide a wide variety of senior administrative support
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint - to compose correspondence, reports, presentations, charts, and graphs as required
- Develop and manage the schedule on a daily basis, including travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, and arranging conference calls
- Coordinate with external clients for meetings, conference calls and special events
- Maintain departmental daily operational workflow, including coordinating responses to both internal and external inquiries/requests
- Able to prioritize and anticipate the needs of the RVP
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to daily activities of Rogers
- Miscellaneous department purchases and orders including office supplies and publications
- Management of financials, invoicing and budgets
- Management of timekeeper, vacations and other Rogers for Business employee needs
- Management of fleet vehicles and storage facilities
- Post-secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline plus or
minimum of 5 years' experience supporting senior management executives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated advanced technical competence with MS Office - Word 6.0, PowerPoint, Excel and e-mail in order to create effective presentations, documents and spreadsheets
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible hours to meet challenging and changing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- Strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems
- A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up
