The Opportunity: Content Marketing Manager

Our ideal candidate should have excellent command of best practices and trends in content marketing and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. You will have exceptional writing skills and an eye for trending topics. If you’re innovative and passionate about generating great content for the tech industry (whether, eBooks, blogs, white papers or for demand gen) with the drive to do well with multiple projects and deadlines, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • The right person will have proven experience proactively identifying new opportunities, contributing to overall content strategy and collaborating with leadership, as well as marketing, product and other teams across organizations to:
  • Understand our audiences, their challenges and terminology, as well as their watering holes, and recommend new content to address content gaps
  • Write, edit and adapt content for blog posts, case studies, talk tracks, collateral, to tell powerful stories about our customers, products and use cases
  • Collaborate with teams across our organization to brainstorm topics and work with SMEs to author work that addresses our targets’ pain points, align with our messaging and value framework and support product launches
  • Live and breathe the right analytics beyond keyword research to implement SEO and SEM practices to increase content visibility
  • Choose the best medium for the right content and work closely with our demand gen team to optimize distribution
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive consumption, amplification and engagement
  • Create and manage all marketing content inventories (including PR), roadmaps and editorial calendars


What You’ll Need

  • Experience studying, working with or writing about software delivery practices or methodologies, value stream management or software tool integration in a variety of formats (eBooks, Datasheets, white papers, bylines, blogs, case studies, video scripts)
  • Interest in, or indeed passion for cutting edge technology
  • Understanding of, or the ability to quickly absorb and understand technical personas in software delivery
  • 4 years experience writing about technology in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to understand, synthesize and articulate complex concepts quickly to a variety of audiences (business and technologists)
  • An understanding of the sales cycle and/or marketing funnel
  • A curious and motivated mind
  • Proven ability to be flexible while maintaining focus to drive desired outcomes, on deadline
  • Proven self-starter who can manage projects on your own and remain focused amid frequently changing requirements
  • Interest in/passion for technology and past copywriting experience with complex subjects in a tech-related industry (samples are required)
  • Ability to conduct research, source SMEs internally, fact check and describe technical subject matter in a creative and informative way (case studies required)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English (testing required)
  • Proven ability to gather/use content analytics (case studies required)
  • Current with digital writing methodologies and best practices
