A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Accounts Payable and Receivable team is responsible for performing collections activity and payment of debt activity. You'll focus on working with senior individuals to review and produce reports related to the accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts that will assist PwC in achieving monthly collection target amounts as well as ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices.

As a Specialist, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include: InvoicingSetup new client codes and maintain client codes in the firm's proprietary accounting software based on information provided by the partner, manager and/or partner assistant.Confirm invoicing arrangements with the client representative prior to issuing the first invoice to ensure high quality, and update/manage schedule fees.Monitor WIPs, review engagement letters to determine fees to be charged, and liaise with managers to ensure out of pocket expenses are capturedDraft, finalize, and issue invoices to clients on a timely basis to support achievement of partners' monthly billing targets (i.e., NIDO)Reconcile and relief of related time and expense charges in the firm's proprietary accounting softwareLiaise with managers to ensure internal revenue allocations are agreed in advance and billed as part of the progress billing cycle where applicableRespond to client queries regarding invoices, including preparation of analyses and preparation of amended invoices when required (as directed by the partner/manager), and prepare, finalize and issue credit notes, bad debt request forms or cash transfer request forms with partner approval.WIP ManagementPrepare monthly detailed analysis of WIP (as required by the partner/manager) to ensure the WIP value reflects what is expected to be recovered in fees from the client. When it doesn't, prepare month-end WIP provisions for review with partner/managerMonitor and/or manage the partner's overall financial investment, including WIP, A/R and cash collection actuals to target (i.e. NIDO)Track fees against budget, and conduct global fee reporting as required, and generate reports using the firm's proprietary accounting software to help monitor a partner's commercial performanceRespond to queries from LoS Finance Directors in relation to engagement financial performanceMonitor partners' monthly cash collection target and actual cash receipts to support achievement of targetRespond to requests from Finance regarding cash allocations to sub ledgerInitiate reminders to clients and diligently follow up to ensure timely resolution, as directed by manager/partnerGenerate monthly aged A/R reports and review with partner to determine actions required for aging accountsProvide collections with outstanding payment requests, as directed by manager/partnerGeneralLiaise between practice and Finance staff regarding any administrative problemsPrepare and maintain Year-to-Date fee summaries as required, and review and maintain billing information such as client codes, billing rate schedules, and other dataRequirements:An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.Demonstrates ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced and changing environmentDemonstrates a commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships (at all levels) with both internal and external clientsExperience in accounting and/or relevant financial management (in a professional services firm is an asset)High school diploma required.
