Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Management Associate to support one of the largest and most dynamic Investment Advisory teams within TD Wealth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing investment strategies, supporting marketing and client engagement initiatives, maintaining investment models, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management Support:

• Execute the investment management strategy, including portfolio rebalancing, investment policy statement monitoring, and trading to satisfy client cash flows.

• Maintain and monitor the team's investment models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives.

• Investment Research & selection.

• Assist in researching and selecting suitable investment ideas, strategies, and asset classes.

• Stay informed on the dynamics and developments of stocks held within the team's portfolios.

• Conduct investment research and participate in research calls to support Investment Advisors' decision-making.

• Marketing & Client Engagement.

• Prepare and update pitch decks, client proposals, and investment holding sheets to support the team's marketing and business development efforts.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify, suggest, and actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and client service.

• Ensure full compliance with TD Bank and industry service standards, policies, procedures, controls, codes, and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma required.

• Licensing & Designations:

• Licensed with IIROC as a Registered Representative (RR), or willingness to obtain promptly.

• Insurance licensed (LLQP) or willingness to do so within 1 year

• Designations such as CFA, CIM, or CFP are considered strong assets.

• Minimum three years' experience working directly with, or in support of, the wealth management needs of clients.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Experience with Bloomberg Professional and Croesus is considered an asset.
